We are ranked as the UK’s #1 construction specific software player and our mission is simple; to provide market leading end-to-end software solutions to the construction and construction like industries across the entire build life cycle.
If you are looking to build an exceptional career with an award-winning company you’ve come to the right place. Our teams are based in the UK, Europe, and India, working on products that are used on a global scale. We have a clear and defined road map to deliver over the next 3 years, which is centred around a large-scale digital transformation as well as continuing our growth and expansion.
We embrace diversity and equality and want our employees to be comfortable bringing their whole selves to work. We are committed to building a team with a variety of backgrounds, skills and views. Creating a culture of Equality isn’t just the right thing to do, it improves every aspect of our business.
The Role
Our technology is used by thousands of companies and affects millions of lives. You’ll be responsible for developing data visualisations and interactive components for our products. You will play a critical role in creating and innovating ways to visualise complex data, focusing on web UI development for visualisations outside of embedded PowerBI.
We are not looking for a standard UI engineer who will implement UX designs. We need somebody who understands data and data visualisation patterns and is keen to innovate.
Responsibilities
- Develop innovative data visualizations tailored for web UI applications beyond embedded Power BI capabilities.
- Create and maintain interactive components that allow user actions to trigger responses in the system.
- Design standalone widgets for workspace apps that visualize data effectively without relying on embedded Power BI.
- Implement user-friendly interfaces that support advanced interactions with data visualizations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify key data insights and visualization requirements.
- Ensure visualizations are responsive and optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
- Regularly update and enhance existing visualizations to improve user experience and functionality.
- Conduct user testing to gather feedback and iterate on visualization designs.
The essentials we need from you:
- Proficiency in Angular and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong understanding of data visualization principles and patterns.
- Experience with creating interactive data visualizations.
- Familiarity with data manipulation and transformation techniques.
- Creativity and innovation in data visualization design.
- Experience working with visualisation libraries such as D3, Three.js and p5.js, or data-heavy applications like Streamlit.
- Familiarity with basic data analysis and visualisation concepts; familiarity in developing reports, documents and dashboards as per requirements.
- Familiarity with modern BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with data reporting: the ability to collect, manage and analyse data from various sources and formats using R, Python, or other programmatic methods is preferred but not required.
