The role
- As a Senior Consultant you will be responsible for working independently and as part of a team to deliver projects. Including all aspects of the project life-cycle, ensuring successful delivery of tasks and projects outcomes.
- Support the management team, Head of Operations and Head of Traffic Order Consultancy Services, in assisting in the development of business objectives, efficient project delivery and plans for profitable growth.
Duties General
- Keeping abreast of new developments within the industry
- Provide advice to clients or organisations working in partnership with the company
- Keep up to date with legislation and national guidance as well as industry best practice with regards to all aspects of TOs, including traffic calming, traffic signs regulations, and other associated regulations.
- Work in conjunction with OM/Causeway teams for successful delivery of projects.
- Assistance in helping to grow all aspects of OM and Causeway services
- To include assisting Causeway Technologies with project work.
- Develop accurate and consistent cost estimates and invoicing with the help of senior staff members.
- Carry out general administration tasks as necessary.
- Traffic Order Support services
- Delivery of Traffic Order Support services in line with agreed plan.
- Accurately draft all legal notices and associated documents for highway amendments and traffic orders for permanent, temporary, and experimental schemes. Documents include but not limited to; notice of proposal, traffic order, notice of making, variations, amendments, consolidation, statement of reason, due regard.
- Input data in to mapping systems and complete all associated reports required. This includes producing map- based schedules and all related tasks to upload to public facing systems.
- Support the Principal Traffic Order Technician and senior colleagues to ensure effective client contact with regards to Traffic Orders (TOs). Responding to client requests and queries in an accurate and timely manner.
- Work closely with colleagues in the survey team and mapping team to input data involving TOs.
- Prioritise personal programme of TOs to complete within available budgets and timescales with the support of the Head of Traffic Order Consultancy Services.
- Assist clients with TO scheme consultation exercises to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved. Other Duties
- Travel within the UK to clients’ premises and sites and to Causeway offices when required.
- Any such general duties as may be requested from time to time to promote the efficient running of the Company and its business development, including identifying opportunities with existing clients or new customers via procurement portals.
- Review and maintain the OM webpages with customers and clients being the focus.
- Recommend improvements across all software packages and attend User Group sessions to keep up to date with system upgrades.
