Purpose
You will be responsible for winning new business for Causeway and will be targeted on securing new annual recurring revenue. You will be meeting with prospective customers in the construction/built environment sector across the UK, ensuring that you understand their business and current objectives. Using this information, you will sell a range of products and solutions to match their needs. You will work with our Marketing, Inside Sales and Sales Engineering teams to successfully create high value, qualified sales opportunities and manage them through to successful conclusion to deliver your sales target.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Sales Excellence
- Proven success in closing new business, cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within a quarterly-driven software sales environment
- Strong track record of winning complex deals involving multiple decision-makers and senior stakeholders
- Skilled at outmanoeuvring competitors through strategic thinking and innovative approaches
- Experience in complex contractual negotiations
Strategic Thinking
- Ability to understand and align with clients' short, medium and long-term objectives
- Expertise in demonstrating tangible ROI through technology adoption
- Proven capability in navigating and influencing complex buying processes
- Experience in responding to RFIs, RFPs and formal tenders
Professional Attributes
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated with excellent territory and time management abilities
- Strong target orientation with proven ability to work autonomously
- Exceptional team player with collaborative approach to business planning and execution
Desirable Skills
- Relevant built environment industry or digital transformation experience.
- Degree level, diploma or equivalent education preferred.
Responsibilities
Drive Revenue Growth
- Achieve and exceed annual recurring revenue targets through software and professional services sales
- Create and execute multi-year sales strategies to maximise market penetration
- Develop accurate forecasts and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Negotiate optimal commercial terms to accelerate revenue recognition
Build Strategic Relationships
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across assigned territory
- Guide prospective clients through the decision-making process, ensuring positive outcomes
- Partner with Marketing and Inside Sales to generate and nurture qualified leads
- Represent our organisation at industry events and conferences, both in-person and virtually
Lead Solution-Based Sales
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations alongside Sales Engineering team
- Craft tailored proposals and tender responses that clearly articulate our value proposition
- Utilise MEDDPICC methodology to qualify and progress opportunities effectively
- Maintain detailed opportunity tracking in our CRM system
Deliver Market Excellence
- Stay at the forefront of market trends, competitive landscapes, and industry developments
- Develop deep understanding of customer pain points and business challenges
- Contribute to team success by sharing best practices and successful strategies
- Transform market insights into actionable sales opportunities
