Purpose
The purpose of the Consultant role is to support the delivery of consultancy services that help customers adopt and gain value from Causeway’s integrated software platform.
The Consultant role applies specialist knowledge in Traffic Regulation and Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs), alongside broader product understanding, to guide customers in implementing effective digital workflows.
As Causeway transitions to a platform-first organisation, the Consultant contributes to multi-product service delivery, works collaboratively with internal teams, and helps ensure customers successfully embed Causeway solutions into their operational processes.

Project Delivery & Customer Engagement
• Support the delivery of consultancy projects spanning multiple Causeway products, contributing to discovery activities, configuration tasks, data preparation, testing, and documentation.
• Work directly with customers to understand requirements, demonstrate product capability, provide guidance on TRO-related and platform-wide workflows, and assist in resolving issues or blockers.
• Prepare clear project artefacts – including configuration notes, data outputs, process documentation, and progress updates – ensuring alignment with agreed scopes and quality standards.
Technical Expertise & Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Apply knowledge of Traffic Regulation and TRO processes to help customers implement accurate, compliant workflows within Causeway’s platform.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, Commercial, and other Professional Services teams by sharing customer insights, contributing to solution design, and helping refine repeatable delivery approaches.
• Participate in internal training, knowledge-sharing, and enablement sessions to build understanding of Causeway products and platform capabilities.
Business Enablement & Continuous Improvement
• Identify opportunities where additional Causeway products, modules, or capabilities could support customer needs and feed these insights to commercial teams.
• Contribute to the preparation of proposals, demonstrations, and customer-facing materials by providing subject matter input and technical clarity.
• Support continuous improvement by sharing customer feedback, suggesting enhancements, and helping refine delivery processes and assets.
Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications
• Experience delivering consultancy or technical services, ideally within a software, transport, or data driven environment.
• Knowledge of Traffic Regulation and TRO processes, with the ability to interpret requirements and support customers in applying them within digital workflows.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document processes clearly and engage confidently with customers.
• Degree or equivalent experience in transportation, traffic management, GIS/mapping, engineering, or a related field.
• Desirable: training or experience in project delivery or software implementation.
• Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development in Traffic Regulation, digital mapping, platform adoption, or SaaS delivery.
